For Both Bride & Groom:
- Proof of Age (any one of the following):
- Birth Certificate
- School Leaving Certificate
- Passport
- PAN Card
- Aadhaar Card
- Address Proof (any one of the following):
- Aadhaar Card
- Voter ID
- Passport
- Driving License
- Utility Bills (electricity, water, etc.)
- Ration Card
- Affidavit of Marriage (signed by both parties):
- Declaring the date and place of marriage, marital status at the time of marriage, and affirming that there is no legal impediment to the marriage.
- Photographs:
- Passport-sized photographs of both bride and groom.
- Wedding photograph (optional in some states).
- Marriage Invitation Card (if available):
- A copy of the wedding invitation card may be required.
- Witness Documents:
- ID proof and address proof of three witnesses (e.g., Aadhaar, Voter ID, or Passport).
- Witnesses must be adults and present during the registration process.
- Marriage Proof:
- Wedding photo album
- Certificate from the religious institution if the marriage was solemnized in a place of worship (ex- temple, mosque, church).
- Application Form:
- Duly filled marriage registration application form (available online or at the registrar’s office).
- Marriage Solemnization Certificate:
- If the marriage was conducted under a religious ceremony, a certificate/Document from the priest/ authorized person is Required.
